				Tanzania is a great ornithological destination; the avifauna of Tanzania included a total of 1114 confirmed species as of August 2019. Of them, 30 are endemic, 44 are accidental, and four have been introduced by humans. This is the third highest in Africa, representing more than 10% of the global avifauna.

						Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania
						Arrive at Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be met and transferred to peaceful Kisongo.

						Arusha - Tarangire National Park
						Leave your hotel after breakfast and then drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive and have a picnic lunch before some more game viewing in the afternoon. The park is home to thousands of giant baobab trees that will catch your eye. Herds of up to 300 elephants roam the park along with the migration herds of wildebeest.

						Tarangire National park - Serengeti National park
						After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy an en-route stopover at the Ngorongoro Crater view point. An afternoon game drive once you arrive at the park before stopping for a picnic lunch. The Serengeti is known as one of the ultimate wildlife sanctuaries in the world, renowned for the massive migration of animals. Every year more than a million wildebeest and zebras travel through the park.

						Serengeti National park - Ngorongoro Crater
						After breakfast, enjoy a morning of game viewing on the way out of the Serengeti plains. Stop for a picnic lunch and make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation area where we will overnight.

						Ngorongoro crater - Arusha
						After breakfast, descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site known as one of the most diverse wildlife havens on earth. Ngorongoro has over 20,000 large animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Enjoy a morning game drive in the crater and then a picnic lunch. Later make your way out of the crater driving through the crater-rim forest back to Arusha.

						Make your way to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. We will arrange a pick-up and transfer to your hotel.

						Relax & Explore Jambian Beach
						Your hotel is located in Jambiani Beach, one of the quietest beaches in the southeast of Zanzibar. Enjoy days relaxing and exploring as you wish. Perhaps take a day trip or just stroll along the beautiful beach visiting local markets. Various additional activities can be arranged, enquire for more details.
